A journey at your pace

Make the choice easier

Choose the journey, not just the destination.

Two trips in the same country can feel very different. Use these four questions to narrow your options before comparing an itinerary or quotation.

01

Access & useful time

Choose a gateway that fits your wider journey. Compare the flight, road and boat stages before counting nights in the forest.

02

Habitats & interests

Flooded forest, open wetlands and terra firme offer different experiences. Start with the landscapes and animals that interest you.

03

Comfort & daily rhythm

Compare room setup, meals and facilities alongside walking distances, boat time and rest. Choose what works for everyone traveling.

04

Seasons & total cost

Check local water conditions and what is included. Compare transfers, guiding, meals and activities; price alone does not describe the trip.

Personal help, from the start

You do not need every answer yet.

We help you turn a broad idea into a clearer choice of region, route and travel style. Our guides are a place to begin; access, services and availability still need confirming for your dates.

  1. Share what matters

Your approximate dates, group size, interests and comfort preferences give us a useful starting point.

  2. Compare the right options

Consider the gateway, transfers, accommodation and daily pace together. Tell us if you are choosing between countries.

  3. Confirm before committing

Review the proposed arrangements, inclusions and applicable terms. Sending an inquiry does not create a reservation.

A few useful answers

Before you choose.

Which country should I choose for an Amazon trip?

Start with your main interest and the time available. Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Colombia and Bolivia offer different Amazon gateways. Compare access, habitats and accommodation within each country. Suriname and Guyana belong to the broader Guiana Shield rainforest region; Canaima and the Orinoco Delta need their own geographical and travel-advice context.

How much time should I allow?

Count travel days as well as time at your destination. Flights, road transfers and river journeys can take a substantial part of a short visit. Compare an itinerary day by day, leave room for connections and choose a pace that matches your group.

Can you help if I have not chosen a destination?

Yes. Send your approximate dates, group size, interests and comfort preferences through the inquiry form. We can help you narrow the options and identify what needs confirming. An inquiry is not a reservation or a guarantee of availability.

Are all the countries shown part of the Amazon basin?

No. Our guides include Amazon-basin destinations and neighboring tropical rainforest regions. Suriname and Guyana are part of the Guiana Shield region. Venezuela’s Canaima and Orinoco Delta are not interchangeable with its Amazon-basin areas. Each country guide explains these distinctions.
