Useful, transparent and current
We separate independently researched planning information from operator claims, label commercial relationships and identify when important information was last reviewed.
How pages are researched
Priority facts should be checked against primary sources, relevant public authorities and current operator information. Time-sensitive details such as access, prices and policies require dates and clear attribution.
How recommendations work
Recommendations should explain fit, limitations and responsibility. A referral or commercial relationship must never change factual standards or guarantee wildlife sightings.
How imagery is handled
Production images must be location-accurate and supported by documented permission or a commercial-use license. Artificial imagery will not be presented as documentary travel photography.
Corrections
Travel conditions change. Readers and operators can submit corrections through the contact page; material changes should record a reviewed date.
